It's truly amazing how a few simple lines can effectively convey the whole picture. Sometimes, I find myself questioning why I should strive for complex visuals when I can express myself simply and conveniently. There is something pure and sincere about this approach. In many of my line art illustrations, I use reference photos as a starting point. By adding shadows or areas of color, whether through paint splashes or solid colors, I can enhance the impact of the lines, creating a visually striking effect. I have found that minimal line art portraits have their own dedicated audience, as I have created numerous pieces for individuals who wish to gift their loved ones with a personalized portrait.
